In NYC there are scenes of all sorts of folks. Many of New York's singer-songwriters and folk singers cut around with each other and bump around venues in the lower part of Manhattan and some in Brooklyn. Most any of them would be able to tell you about the "Sticker Dude." One of the friendliest, life and art loving people you'd come across. He goes from venue to venue telling wonderful stories singing songs, rousing the audience into lively choruses. Every time you see him he's got a bag full of stickers or note pads, new ones every week, that he happily distributes to artists and onlookers and friends. This year I'm happy to join more than 22 New York City folk performers and friends to celebrate the Sticker Dude's birthday this Saturday Night. Each performer will play two songs and the night is sure to buzz on with good food and drink from the Vagabond Cafe. That's what I'm up to this weekend :)
